To άναμμα φωτιάς σε ξύλα, κάρβουνα και λοιπά καύσιμα επιτυγχάνεται πολύ απλά και οικονομικά με ηλεκτρικό αναπτήρα που αποτελείται από ένα ηλεκτρικό θερμαντικό στοιχείο (1), στερεομένο πάνω σε μονωτική βάση (2), η οποία μπορεί να διαμορφωθεί σε απλή χειρολαβή ή χειρολαβή-μπαταριοθήκη με ενσωματωμένη ή όχι διάταξη επαναφόρτισης και με απόληξη σε καλώδιο (3) για την σύνδεση στο ηλεκτρικό ρεύμα στις περιπτώσεις που αυτό απαιτείται. ω
