Abstract
παρούσα εφεύρεση αναφέρεται σε μια μέθοδο και ένα μηχανισμό υπερηχητικού διαχωρισμού αερίου ροής-σταγονιδίων. Ο διαχωρισμός επιτυγχάνεται μέσω ενός συγκλίνοντος αποκλίνοντος ακροφυσίου του οποίου το αποκλίνον τμήμα είναι κυρτό. Το μιγμα αερίου-σταγονιδίων υπό υπερηχητικές συνθήκες που καθ'οιονδήποτε τρόπο δημιουργούνται σύμφωνα με την υπάρχουσα τεχνολογία εισέρχεται στο αναφερθέν συγκλίνον αποκλίνον ακροφύσιο, όπου πλησίον του λαιμού με ρύθμιση των συνθηκών κατάντι της ροής του ακροφυσίου δημιουργείται κρουστικό κύμα όπου αποτομα μεταβάλλεται η ταχύτητα και η διεύθυνση της αερίου ροής καθώς μεταπίπτει σε υποηχητική και καθώς ακολουθεί την γεωμετρία του κατάντι κυρτού τμήματος. Τα υπάρχοντα σταγονίδια λόγω αδράνειας διαχωρίζονται από την υπόλοιπη ροή και έτσι σχηματίζονται δύο ζώνες. Μία απηλλαγμένη από σταγονίδια και μία εμπλουτισμένη σε σταγονίδια. Οι ζώνες αυτές διαχωριζονται μέσω διαχωριστικής πλακας. Ακολούθως μέσω κλασσικού υποηχητικού διαχωριστού παραλαμβάνεται το υγρό που αποτελούν τα διαχωρισθέντα σταγονίδια ενώ οι απηλλαγμένες πλέον σταγονιδίων ζώνες αερίου συνενώνονται προκειμένου καθ'οιουνδήποτε τρόπο να χρησιμοποιηθούν όπως π.χ. προκειμένου να ανακυκλωθούν ή να αποβληθούν. Ο υπερηχητικός διαχωριστής αερίου ροής -σταγονιδίων μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί σε κάθε υπερηχητικό διαχωρισμό όπως π.χ. σαν βασικό τμήμα ενός υπερηχητικού αφυγραντή που περιλαμβάνει ένα κεκορεσμένο αέριο μέσον και αποδιδει ένα ακόρεστο θερμό μέσο και την ύλη που προκαλεί τον κορεσμό, και εν γένει σε καθε διαχωρισμό στοιχείων όπου κρίνεται αναγκαία η προηγούμενη υγροποίησή τους υπό υπερηχητικές συνθήκες. ΰ
