Abstract

Η προτεινόμενη πλάκα εξασφαλίζει απόλυτη σταθερή οστεοσύνθεση στις περιπτώσεις ύπαρξης αρθροπλαστικής και επισυμβάντος κατάγματος στο μηριαίο οστούν, εκεί όπου ευρίσκεται το πέρας του στειλεού, δεν είναι δε δυνατή η αντικατάσταση της ενδοπρόθεσης, ως επίσης και στις περιπτώσεις καταγμάτων των μηριαίων κονδύλων.Στις περιπτώσεις αυτές η χρησιμοποίηση βιδών για τη συγκράτηση της πλάκας μπορεί να έχει σαν αποτέλεσμα το τραυματισμό του τσιμέντου και του στειλεού, δεν εξασφαλίζει πάντως σταθερότητα στην οστεοσύνθεση.Η προτεινόμενη πλάκα φέρει εγκάρσιες αυλακώσεις, που βοηθούν τη περίδεση της πλάκας στο οστούν, εξασφαλίζοντας απόλυτα οστεοσύνθεση, χωρίς να εμποδίζει την ελεύθερη αιμάτωση.ΰ
