Abstract

εφεύρεση αφορά σε ολοκληρωμένο οπτοηλεκτρονικό βιοαισθητήρα πυριτίου που είναι σε θέση να ανιχνεύει βιομόρια από την αλλαγή της οπτικής ζεύξης μεταξύ της ολοκληρωμένης πηγής φωτός και του ολοκληρωμένου ανιχνευτή που προκαλείται από την πρόσδεση των κατάλληλα επισημασμένων προς ανάλυση βιομορίων στα μόρια-αναγνώρισης που έχουν προηγουμένως ακινητοποιηθεί στην ολοκληρωμένη οπτική ίνα που συνδέειτην οπτική πηγή με τον ανιχνευτή. Η διάταξη περιλαμβάνει την οπτοηλεκτρονική ψηφίδα πυριτίου και την βιολογική της ενεργοποίηση. Η οπτοηλεκτρονική ψηφίδα κατασκευάζεται με μεθόδους κατασκευής ολοκληρωμένων κυκλωμάτων έτσι ώστε στο ίδιο υπόστρωμα πυριτίου να ολοκληρώνεται μονολιθικά η πηγή φωτός, ο ανιχνευτής και η οπτική ίνα που πραγματοποιεί την οπτική ζεύξη πηγής-ανιχνευτή. Η βιολογική της ενεργοποίηση γίνεται με την φυσικοχημική τροποποίηση της επιφάνειας της ψηφίδας έτσι ώστε να είναι δυνατή η πρόσδεση των βιομορίων αναγνώρισης στην επιφάνεια της οπτικής ίνας. Τα προς ανίχνευση βιομόρια (πρωτείνες η ολιγονουκλεοτίδια) επισημαίνονται με χρωμοφόρες ομάδες ή με νανοσωματίδια ή με ένζυμα και μετά την πρόσδεσή τους στα βιομόρια αναγνώρισης μειώνουν την οπτική ζεύξη οπτικής πηγής-ανιχνευτή παρέχοντας ένα μέτρο για τη συγκέντρωσή τους. ΰ
