Abstract

εχνητή ενδοπρόθεση γόνατος ή άλλων αρθρώσεων, με βελτιωμένους μηχανισμούς λίπανσης των κινούμενων μερών της ενδοπρόθεσης, με δυνατότητα κατακράτησης των μικροσωματιδίων που δημιουργούνται κατά την τριβή των κινούμενων μερών της ενδοπρόθεσης, και, με παράλληλη γλοιοελαστική απόσβεση των δυνάμεων και των φορτίων που εφαρμόζονται σ' αυτήν κατά την χρήση. Αυτό επιτυγχάνεται με την χρήση συμπιέσιμων υλικών ή συμπιέσιμων μηχανισμών, ή συνδυασμό τους (για παράδειγμα, μεταξύ της ένθετης πλατφόρμας καιτου κνημιαίου στοιχείου, ή εγκάρσια στο σώμα της ένθετης πλατφόρμας), που δημιουργούν μια συμπιεσιμότητα της ενδοπρόθεσης κάτω από φορτία, ενώ παράλληλα κλειστοί θάλαμοι με μόνη διέξοδο, την επιφάνεια επαφής μηριαίων κονδύλων-ένθετης πλατφόρμας, συμπιέζονται και αποσυμπιέζονται, απορροφώντας και εξωθώντας αρθριτικό υγρό από, και, προς τις επιφάνειες επαφής. Η κίνηση αρθριτικού υγρού ή αέρα μέσα από οπές, προσδίδει γλοιοελαστικότητα, βελτιώνει την λίπανση των κινούμενων μερών, ενώ, διαπερατά υλικά παρεμβαλλόμενα στην ροή του αρθριτικού υγρού, λειτουργούν σαν φίλτρα κατακράτησης μικροσωματιδίων που αιωρούνται σ' αυτό. ΰ
