Abstract
n object oriented framework provides a set of objects that perform Hydroprocessing Reactor Simulation functioning and that permit a framework user to add extensions for specific processing features, thereby producing a Hydroprocessing Reactor Simulation application program that supports development and operation of company processes. The framework includes a Reactor Definition Document category of classes for defining the Hydroprocessing Reactor Process, a Reactor category of classes for parsing the Reactor Definition Document and creatin internal classes that mathematically model reactor behaviour and a Simulator category of classes that simulate Reactor behaviour via the solution of the mathematical model defined by the Reactor classes and register simulation results for further engineering analysis. These classes provide the base framework upon which Hydroprocessing Reactor Simulation application program is developed by the framework user.
