Abstract

The invention relates to a system designed for the self- production of fuel usable in internal combustion engines. Two conduits conduct the exhausts to the atmosphere (conduit 8) and to a special reactor 6 (conduit 9). In the reactor the exhausts come in contact with carbon or a liquid or solid organic mass heated by the exhausts which will be broken down, in respect to the temperature, into gaseous or volatile compositions, hydrogen and solid residues. The resulting volatile and gaseous compositions -such as hydrogen- are directed via the conduit 5 towards the interior of the engine. The proportion of the air-and-fuel mixture is controlled either via the throttle valves of the input air flow or via the additional liquid fuel added throughspraying nozzles 3 or via combination of the two aforementioned methods according to commands given by a digital central unit 11 on the basis of the signal received by the sensor encountered on the output exhausts conduit.
