Abstract

Η εφεύρεση αναφέρεται σε ενδοπρόθεση ολικής αρθροπλαστικής γόνατος, η οποία αποτελείται από: α) το μηριαίο τμήμα (1) με μικρότερης ακτίνας έξω κόνδυλο (2), μεγαλύτερης ακτίνας έσω κόνδυλο (3) και ανάμεσα τους προς τα πίσω, άνω και επί τα εντός τρίτοκόνδυλο (5), β) το κνημιαίο τμήμα (6) με κεντρικό προεξέχοντα άξονα (7) για την περιστροφή του επικαθήμενου ενθέτου πολυαιθυλενίου (8), γ) το περιστρεφόμενο ένθετο πολυαιθυλενίου (8), με τρείς κοιλότητες για την άρθρωση των κονδύλων.Σε αρχικό και μέσο στάδιο κάμψης η άρθρωση λειτουργεί με την έξω (9) και έσω (10) αρθρική επιφάνεια, ενώ σε προχωρημένο και τελικό στάδιο κάμψης η άρθρωση λειτουργεί με την τρίτη αρθρική επιφάνεια (11).Τα πλεονεκτήματα αυτής της ενδοπρόθεσης είναι βελτιωμένο εύρος κάμψης, καλύτερη μίμηση του μηριαίου άξονα, σημαντική οπίσθια σταθεροποίηση, ευνοϊκότερη διευθέτηση της κνημιαίας περιστροφής με συνεπαγόμενη ανακούφισηυλικών και στηρίξεων καθώς και συγκράτηση περισσότερου αρθρικού υγρού για λίπανση και μείωση τηςφθοράς του πολυαιθυλενίου.
