Abstract

Η εφεύρεση αναφέρεται σε δρομολογητή πρόσβασης (Access Router) σε ασύρματα δίκτυα 802.11 που αποτελείται από προσωπικό υπολογιστή εφοδιασμένο με μία κάρτα ενσύρματου δικτύου και μία ασύρματου δικτύου και έχει την ικανότητα να παρέχει διαφοροποιημένες υπηρεσίες σε κάθε ασύρματο υπολογιστή συσχετισμένο (associated) με αυτόν. Ο δρομολογητής στηρίζεται σε ένα CBWFQ μηχανισμό, που δέχεται διορθωτικές ρυθμίσεις ως προς το βάρος των κλάσεων του, περιοδικά, όπως προκύπτουν από ένα μηχανισμό που ανακατανέμει τους πόρους του δικτύου ώστε να πετύχει τη δίκαιη διαμοίραση τους και ένα μηχανισμό που εκτιμά περιοδικά την κατάσταση του διαύλου για κάθε κόμβο ώστε να βελτιώσει την συνολική απόδοση του δικτύου. Χρησιμοποιούνται δύο ουρές για κάθε ασύρματο κόμβο, μια για τα πακέτα πληροφορίας και μία για τα πακέτα επιβεβαιώσεων.
