Abstract

Το σύστημα αποτελείται από έναν κυκλικό ιμάντα(Ι) ο οποίος περιβρογχίζει την τροχαλία(ό) με την παρεμβολή του ελαστικού δακτυλίου τριβής(5) και καταλήγει σε μικρό ράουλο(211), στο σκέλος τανυσμού(21) της βάσης(2) που είναι στερεωμένο μέσω ελατηρίου(22) με το σκέλος στερέωσης(20) της βάσης(2) που είναι βιδωμένο σε σταθερό σημείο. Το ελατήριο(22) τανύζει συνεχώς τον ιμάντα(Ι), ώστε να μην χάνεται η πρόσφυση του μέσω του δακτυλίου τριβής(5) με την τροχαλία(ό). Στο σημείο εισόδου του στην βάση(2), το πρόσθιο σκέλος(10) του ιμάντα(Ι) διέρχεται από το μηχανισμό μπλοκαρίσματος(203) που του επιτρέπει κίνηση μόνο προς μία κατεύθυνση (κάτω). Έλκοντας προς τα κάτω το πρόσθιο σκέλος(ΙΟ) του ιμάντα(Ι), η τροχαλία(ό) στρέφεται συνεκτικά μαζί του περιελίσσοντας το ρολό(3) στον άξονα(7), ενώ όταν η έλξη παύεται, ο μηχανισμός μπλοκαρίσματος(203) ακινητοποιεί τον ιμάντα(Ι) και την τροχαλία(ό). Πιέζοντας προς τα πάνω το σκέλος τάνυσης(21), το ελατήριο(22) συμπιέζεται και η εφαρμοζόμενη τάση στον ιμάντα(Ι) μειώνεται σταδιακά, μειώνοντας ταυτόχρονα και την εφαρμοζόμενη από τον ιμάντα(Ι) δύναμη πίεσης πάνω στο δακτύλιο τριβής(5). Έτσι κάποια στιγμή η τροχαλία(ό) αρχίζει να στρέφεται από το βάρος του ρολό(3) (ξετύλιγμα) και ο δακτύλιος τριβής(5) λειτουργεί σαν φρένο τριβής. Παύοντας την πίεση στο σκέλος τάνυσης(21) η πρόσφυση μεταξύ δακτυλίου τριβής(5) και τροχαλίας(ό) αποκαθίσταται και το ρολό(3)σταθεροποιείται στο ύψος που βρίσκεται εκείνη τη στιγμή. Το ίδιο αποτέλεσμα επιτυγχάνεται και αν αντί της εφαρμογής πίεσης στο σκέλος τάνυσης(21), ασκηθεί έλξη προς τα πάνω στο οπίσθιο σκέλος(ΙΙ) τουιμάντα(Ι).
