Abstract

Subject: one-piece cylindrical, aluminium, or plastic accessory (connector) meant for the hanging and closure of rolling shutters. The invented connector 1 is characterised in that: it is octagonal 2 inside and rounded outside 3 for accomodating the smooth and noiseless winding of the rolling shutter; it is adapted to the shaft 9 with no clearances left; it operates, solely, when set into motion by the in-built electromotor 10 placed on the haft 9. At its exterior has a hook 4 intended for the hanging of the rolling shutter 5 while at small distance from the top of the hook 4 there is a projection 6 countering against the profile of the rolling shutter 5 and averting the forcing thereof upon confinement of same into the hook 4. Namely, when forced, the closed rolling shutter 5 is countered by the projection 6 of the connector 1 so that the brake of the electromotor 10 stops this last from rotating while artificial locking and additional security are offered to the rolling shutter 5. In case of a manually-operated electromotor functioning beyond the allowed limits due to human error, the rolling shutter -being confined between the connector 1 (the upper end point) and the floor (the lower end point)- can not be inversely wound around the shaft 9 the rotation of which is thus hindered so that any potential damage can be avoided.
