Abstract

Η εκχύλιση της πρόπολης γίνεται σε θερμοκρασία περιβάλλοντος, χωρίς τη χρήση υπερήχων ή μικροκυμάτων, με εισαγωγή στο σύστημα του διαλύτη εκχύλισης της υδροξυπρόπυλο-β-κυκλοδεξτρίνης. Η διαλυτότητα των δραστικών συστατικών αυξάνεται με τη δημιουργία συμπλοκών εγκλεισμού κατά τη διάρκεια της εκχύλισης και αυτό έχει ως αποτέλεσμα την αύξηση της απόδοσης της εκχύλισης. Το τελικό εκχύλισμα είναι πιο σταθερό και ταυτόχρονα έχει συγκεκριμένες προδιαγραφές ως προς την αντιοξειδωτική ικανότητα και την συνολική περιεκτικότητα σε πολυφαινόλες και φλαβονοειδή. Το εκχύλισμα μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί για τον εμπλουτισμό τροφίμων, παρασκευή συμπληρωμάτων διατροφής, καλλυντικών προϊόντων περιποίησης προσώπου και σώματος και φαρμάκων.
