Abstract

Η εφεύρεση αναφέρεται σε φίλτρο τσιγάρων που έχει ως σκοπό την αποτελεσματικότερη συγκράτηση των επιβλαβών ουσιών. Το φίλτρο αποτελείται από ζώνη φιλτραρίσματος (1) με κάλυκα από κόκκους ενεργού άνθρακα για το αρχικό φιλτράρισμα, ενώ στην συνέχεια δύο σπειροειδή κανάλια και δύο αντίστοιχοι θάλαμοι συντελούν στην συγκράτηση όσο το δυνατόν περισσότερων ουσιών. Ο εξωτερικός σπειροειδής δακτύλιος (4) αλλά και το εσωτερικό σπειροειδές κανάλι (8) έχουν διαρκώς μειούμενο βήμα, ώστε να δημιουργείται ένα είδος ατέρμονα κοχλία, ενώ παράλληλα οι εσωτερικές τους επιφάνειες αποτελούνται από κολλώδες υλικό για την συγκράτηση σωματιδίων καπνού. Τέλος, πριν την απαγωγή ο καπνός διέρχεται από διηθητικό φίλτρο (12). Χρήση του φίλτρου μπορεί να γίνει και ως ανεξάρτητου σε φυσίγγια για χρησιμοποίηση σε πίπες ή στριφτά τσιγάρα.
