Abstract

Η παρούσα εφεύρεση σχετίζεται με μία συσκευή εκτόξευσης δέσμης εκνεφώματος μεγάλης εμβέλειας, η λειτουργία της οποίας στηρίζεται στη δημιουργία ενός ισχυρού ρεύματος αέρα, εντός του οποίου διασκορπίζονται σταγονίδια υγρού, όπου η μέγιστη ταχύτητα της δέσμης εκνεφώματος ανέρχεται κατά ελάχιστον στα 300 km/h (83,3 m/s). Χαρακτηριστικό επίσης της συσκευής είναι ότι το ισχυρό ρεύμα αέρα παράγεται από φυγοκεντρικό ανεμιστήρα με σπειροειδές κέλυφος (1). Η συσκευή μπορεί με τη βοήθεια κατάλληλου φορέα στήριξης του φυγοκεντρικού ανεμιστήρα να τοποθετηθεί σε σταθερά σημεία ή πάνω σε επίγειο όχημα, με δυνατότητα στροφής της δέσμης εκνεφώματος σε οριζόντιο επίπεδο (δεξιά-αριστερά), αλλά και αλλαγής της κλίσης της σε κατακόρυφο επίπεδο (πάνω-κάτω). Για την εκτέλεση των κινήσεων αυτών υπάρχει τόσο αυτόματη (10) όσο και χειροκίνητη (60) εκδοχή της συσκευής. Υπάρχει επίσης ιπτάμενη παραλλαγή της συσκευής (90), αναρτώμενη π.χ. από ελικόπτερο, καθώς και φορητή συσκευή (110), με διαφορετικό κάθε φορά φορέα στήριξης. Η κύρια χρήση της συσκευής αφορά στην κατάσβεση πυρκαγιών.
