Abstract

Ένα υδατικό εκχύλισμα ελιάς, το οποίο περιλαμβάνει χυροσόλη, λιγκοτροσίδιο, άγλυκο ελαιοευρωπαΐνης, ελενολικό οξύ και διαλδεϋδική μορφή λιγκστροσιδίου. Το υδατικό εκχύλισμα δεν περιέχει υδροξυτυροσύλη ως το κύριο συστατικό του. Το εν λόγω εκχύλισμα περιέχει τυροσόλη και λιγκοτροσίδιο ως τα κύρια συστατικά του. Το υδατικό εκχύλισμα μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί ως πρόσθετο τροφίμων. Η χρήση του υδατικού εκχυλίσματος βρέθηκε να βελτιώνει τουλάχιστον μία από τις ακόλουθες παραμέτρους, που συνδέονται με μεταβολικό σύνδρομο ή/και καρδιοπροστασία: τη μείωση της LDL-χοληστερόλης (μιλιγραμμάρια/δεκατόλιτρο), την αύξηση της HDL-χοληστερόλης (μιλιγραμμάρια/δεκατόλιτρο), την αύξηση της αναλογίας HDL/LDL ή την ελάττωση της υπερέκκρισης της ινσουλίνης σε υπέρβαρα άτομα.
