Abstract

Σύστημα μηχατρονικού γλύπτη, που μπορεί να κατεργαστεί ψαθυρά υλικά, όπως μάρμαρο μέσω ψηφιακά καθοδηγούμενης πολυβάθμιας και πολυαξονικής κρουστικής λάξευσης, για την παραγωγή ή αναπαραγωγή γλυπτών, των οποίων η όψη, η υφή και τα ίχνη κατεργασίας ομοιάζουν με των χειροποίητων γλυπτών. Το σύστημα μιμείται την τέχνη της γλυπτικής κατά τρόπο, που αντιστοιχεί ευθέως στις κινήσεις του γλύπτη. Το σύστημα αποτελείται από (α) λογισμικό υπολογιστικής γλυπτικής CAS (35-61), που ενσωματώνει όλες τις τεχνολογικές παραμέτρους και διαδικασίες της λάξευσης για την παραγωγή κώδικα καθοδήγησης και (β) από εργαλειομηχανή αριθμητικού ελέγχου, που φέρει χωρικό μηχανισμό έξι βαθμών ελευθερίας (75), ο οποίος καθοδηγεί είτε το εργαλείο λάξευσης (76) για την παραγωγή γλυπτών, είτε βραχίονα με αισθητήρα επαφής (106) για την ψηφιοποίηση πρωτότυπων. Ο σχεδιασμός και οι άξονες κατεργασίας της εργαλειομηχανής αριθμητικού ελέγχου μπορεί να διαφοροποιούνται, ανάλογα με τη γεωμετρία και τις ανάγκες του γλυπτού ή ανάγλυφου, που πρόκειται να παραχθεί ή να αντιγραφεί.
