Abstract
Ο μηχανισμός ολίσθησης πολλαπλής κατεύθυνσης αποτελείται από προφίλ διαφορετικής μεταξύ τους μορφής(σχ. 2-Ι, 2-ΙΙ, 2-ΙΙΙ, 3&4). Το βασικό (Α) προφίλ είναι σταθερό και είναι μορφής τετράπλευρου ή παραλληλόγραμμου με την μία πλαϊνή πλευρά ανοικτή. Αυτό το προφίλ σχηματίζει την βάση της προσθήκης ήτο σταθερό στοιχείο του κουφώματος. Το δεύτερο (Β) προφίλ είναι μορφής κλειστού κοιλοδοκού και μετην χρήση μεταλλικών σφαιριδίων κινείται στο (Α) προφίλ μέσα, έξω και διαγώνια. Το τρίτο (Γ) και τελευταίο προφίλ που φέρει το κρύσταλλο ή το κούφωμα και κινείται επί του δεύτερου προφίλ δεξιά - αριστερά και διαγώνια. Το πλεονέκτημα του μηχανισμού είναι ότι: α) όσον αφορά τα κουφώματα δεν χρειάζεται εξωτερικός οδηγός ή διπλή τοιχοποιία, β) όσον αφορά τις προσθήκες, μπορούν να κατασκυεαστούν προθήκες οποιουδήποτε σχήματος, ακόμη και με οποιαδήποτε μορφή γωνίας και ταυτόχρονα όλες οι πλευρές των προθηκών να είναι ανοιγόμενες (σχ.5,6,7,8,9,10 & 11).
