Abstract

Η παρούσα ευρεσιτεχνία αφορά τους σκληρούς δίσκους των υπολογιστών. Η παρούσα ευρεσιτεχνία προτείνει τη θεαματική αύξηση του ρυθμού διαμεταγωγής δεδομένων ενός σκληρού δίσκου με ταυτόχρονη χρήση τωνκεφαλών, καθώς και με ταυτόχρονη χρήση περισσοτέρων της μιας κεφαλών ανά πλευρά πλατώ. Η διαμεταγωγή του σήματος εγγραφής ανάγνωσης μπορεί να γίνεται με απόπλεξη κατά την εγγραφή και πολύπλεξη κατά την ανάγνωση. Αυτά έχουν ως αποτέλεσμα την καλύτερη εκμετάλλευση κάθε πλήρους περιστροφής του πλατώ, καθώς και την ελάττωση του πλήθους μετακινήσεων track-to-track, καθώς και μείωση του χρόνου full stroke, κατά περίπτωσιν.
