Abstract

1. Edge-board construction for scaffoldings (10) which have four legs (11) and at least one platform (12), the total length and breadth of which corresponds with the length of the respective edge boards (15, 30, 55), and metal holding members (16, 46; 33) which are attached to the ends of the edge boards, characterised in that in each corner of the scaffolding (10), a holding member (16, 46) has a vertically orientated groove (20), open transversely to the longitudinal extent of its edge board (15, 55), into which the end of the other edge board (30) is insertable, and that in the area outside the groove (20) a support shank (27, 47) is provided to support against lateral displacement and tilting during the assembly.
