Abstract

ν κλείσιμον κλείστρον δια εν άνοιγμα εις εν τοίχωμα εκ παχέως μετάλλου, περιλαμβάνον: α. μίαν αφαιρετήν μεταλλικήν πλάκα καλύμματος επαρκώς μεγάλην δια να καλύπτη το ρηθέν άνοιγμα και έχουσαν εν συνεχές παρέμβυσμα εις την μίαν πλευράν της προς σφράγισιν της πλακός έναντι του ρηθέντος τοιχώματος, έχοντος εν περίπου κεντρικώς τιθέμενον άνοιγμα, β. ένα άξονα εκτεινόμενον μέσω του ρηθέντος ανοίγματος και αξονικώς ολισθητόν μέσω αυτού. γ. μέσα σφραγίσεως έναντι υγρού και ατμού μεταξύ του άξονοςτούτου και της ρηθείσης πλακός, των ανωτέρω μέσων σφραγίσεως επιτρεπόντων περιωρισμένην αξονικήν κίνησιντου άξονος. δ. ένα αξονίσκον τοποθετημένον επί του ρηθέντος άξονος δια αξονικήν κίνησιν μετά αυτού,επί της μετά παρεμβύσματος πλευράς της πλακός καλύμματος, του ρηθέντος αξονίσκου έχοντος τουλάχιστον δύο πόδας εκτεινομένους εγκαρσίως επί μίαν επαρκή απόστασιν ώστε να συσφίγγεται το χείλος του ρηθέντος ανοίγματος μεταξύ των άκρων των ανωτέρω ποδώνκαι της ρηθείσης πλακός καλύμματος. ε. καιμηχανικά μέσα επιβάλλοντα δυνάμεις επί της άλλης πλευράς της ρηθείσης πλακός εκ του ρηθέντος παρεμβύσματος δια την αξονικήν ολίσθησιν του άξονος τούτου ούτως, ώστε να έλκεται ο ρηθείς αξονίσκος προς την πλάκα καλύμματος και έναντι της κάτω πλευράς του ρηθέντος τοιχώματος, ώστε να συμπιέζη, δια συσφίγξεως το παρέμβυσμα τούτο και να σφραγίζη την ρηθείσαν πλάκα έναντι του μεταλλικού τοιχώματος.
