έθοδος προς παρασκευήν εν τη 5-θέσει μέσω ενός S-ατόμου ή μιάς -SO-ομάδος υποκατεστημένων 1, 2-διθειολ-3-ονών, χαρακτηριζομένη εκ του ότι φέρομεν προς αντίδρασιν μίαν 5-αλογον-1, 2-διθειολ-3-όνην μετά μιάς υδρογονενώσεως του 2-σθενούς θείου παρουσίαενός διαλύτου ή αραιωτικού μέσου, και ότι οξειδούμεν, εάν επιθυμούμεν, τα ούτω λαμβανόμενα 5-θειο-παράγωγα των 1, 2-διθειολ-3-ονών μεθ ενός οξειδωτικού μέσου προς τας αντιστοίχους σουλφινυλ-ενώσεις.
