Abstract
Eνα σύστημα για την επιθεώρηση οφθαλμικών φακών και που περιλαμβάνει υποσυστήματα μεταφοράς, φωτισμού, εικόνισης και επεξεργασίας εικόνας. Το σύστημα μεταφοράς κινεί ένα πλήθος από οφθαλμικούς φακούς επί μιας προκαθορισμένης διαδρομής για κίνηση καθενος των φακών αυτών, ενός κάθε φορά, προς μια θέση επιθεωρήσεως φακών, και το υποσύστημα φωτισμού παράγει μια σειρά φωτεινών ώσεων και κατευθύνει μια αντίστοιχη φωτεινή ώση μέσα από καθένα οφθαλμικό φακό. Το υποσύστημα εικόνισης παράγει μια ομάδα σημάτων που αντιπροσωπεύουν επιλεγμένα μέρη των φωτεινών ώσεων που μεταδίδονται μέσα από τους οφθαλμικούς φακούς, και το υποσύστημα επεξεργασίας εικόνας δέχεται αυτά τα σήματα από το υποσύστημα εικόνισης και επεξεργάζεται αυτά τα σήματα σύμφωνα με ένα προκαθορισμένο πρόγραμμα για την ταυτοποίηση τουλάχιστον μιας κατάστασης καθενός των φακών.ω
