Claims (10)

  1. Verbessertes Verfahren zur Herstellung einer weichen Hydrogel-Kontaktlinse, wobei ein Farbstoff im wesentlichen gleichmäßig in der gesamten Linse dispergiert ist, wobei der Typ des Verfahrens so beschaffen ist, daß die Linse durch Polymerisation eines hydrophilen Monomeren erhalten worden ist und die Linse mit einer färbend wirksamen Menge eines wasserlöslichen Halogentriazin-Farbstoffs gefärbt ist, wobei die Verbesserung folgendes umfaßt:
    a) Umsetzen des Farbstoffs mit dem hydrophilen Monomeren vor der Polymerisation des Monomeren unter Bedingungen zur wirksamen Herstellung eines reaktiven Farbstoffs, bei dem es sich vorwiegend um einen monofunktionellen Farbstoff handelt, und
    b) Polymerisieren des hydrophilen Monomeren in Gegenwart einer homogenen Lösung des reaktiven Farbstoffs im Monomeren.
  2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei es sich beim Halogentriazin-Farbstoff um einen Dihalogentriazin-Farbstoff handelt.
  3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, wobei es sich bei dem Dihalogentriazin-Farbstoff um einen Dichlortriazin-Farbstoff mit mindestens einer funktionellen Sulfonatgruppe handelt.
  4. Verfahren nach Anspruch 3, wobei es sich beim Dichlortriazin-Farbstoff um CI-Reaktivblau 4, Procion-Brillantblau MRS oder Procion-Blau MRX handelt.
  5. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Menge des reaktiven Farbstoffs in der homogenen Lösung etwa 0,01 bis etwa 0,20 %, bezogen auf das Gewicht des hydrophilen Monomeren beträgt, so daß der Linse eine sichtbare Färbung verliehen wird.
  6. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Menge des reaktiven Farbstoffs in der homogenen Lösung etwa 0,35 bis 0,75 %, bezogen auf das Gewicht des hydrophilen Monomeren beträgt, um der Linse eine verstärkte Färbung zu verleihen.
  7. Verfahren nach Anspruch 5, wobei es sich bei dem hydrophilen Monomeren um einen Hydroxyester von Acrylsäure oder Methacrylsäure handelt.
  8. Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei es sich bei dem Hydroxyester um HEMA handelt.
  9. Verfahren nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Linse durch Polymerisation von HEMA, MAA, EGDMA und TMPTA erhalten worden ist.
  10. Verfahren nach Anspruch 9, wobei die Linse einen Wassergehalt im Gleichgewichtszustand von etwa 35 bis etwa 80 Gew.-% aufweist.
