Claims (9)

  1. Verwendung von Cyclodextrin in einem wäßrigen System, welches einen hydrophoben Verdicker umfaßt, zum Verringern der Viskosität des wäßrigen Systems.
  2. Verfahren zum Verringern der Viskosität eines wäßrigen Systems, welches einen hydrophoben Verdicker umfaßt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Cyclodextrin dem wäßrigen System zugegeben wird.
  3. Verwendung oder Verfahren, wie in Anspruch 1 oder 2 beansprucht, wobei das Cyclodextrin alpha-Cyclodextrin, beta-Cyclodextrin, gamma-Cyclodextrin, ethoxyliertes Cyclodextrin oder propoxyliertes Cyclodextrin, vorzugsweise Hydroxyethylcyclodextrin oder Hydroxypropylcyclodextrin, ist.
  4. Verwendung oder Verfahren, wie in den Ansprüchen 1, 2 oder 3 beansprucht, wobei, falls das Cyclodextrin unmodifiziert ist, das Cyclodextrin von 0,5 Gew.-% bis 2 Gew.-% des Systems vorliegt, und wobei, falls das Cyclodextrin modifiziert ist, das Cyclodextrin von 0,5 Gew.-% bis 10 Gew.-% des Systems vorliegt.
  5. Verwendung oder Verfahren, wie in einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4 beansprucht, wobei das System ferner ein Entkomplexierungsmittel zum Entkomplexieren oder Desorbieren des Cyclodextrins aus dem hydrophoben Verdicker umfaßt.
  6. Verwendung oder Verfahren, wie in Anspruch 5 beansprucht, wobei das Entkomplexierungsmittel ein anionisches Tensid, ein nichtionisches Tensid oder ein kationisches Tensid ist.
  7. Verwendung oder Verfahren, wie in den Ansprüchen 5 und 6 beansprucht, wobei das Cyclodextrin und das Entkomplexierungsmittel in annähernd äquimolaren Mengen vorhanden sind.
  8. Verwendung oder Verfahren, wie in einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7 beansprucht, wobei der hydrophobe Verdicker Polyurethan ist.
  9. Verwendung oder Verfahren, wie in einen der Ansprüche 1 bis 8 beansprucht, wobei das wäßrige System ein Anstrichmittel ist.
