Claims (18)

  1. Zu einer Einheit verbundene absorbierende Struktur, die jeweilige Deckschichten (10), Transferschichten (20) und Reservoirschichten (30) aufweist, wobei
    a) mindestens zwei der jeweiligen Schichten fest aneinander haften, um den Flüssigkeitstransfer dazwischen zu fördern;
    b) die Transferschicht (2) eine geringere Dichte aufweist als die Reservoirschicht (30);
    c) jede der Schichten eine vorgewählte Flüssigkeitsretention und Transferkapazität aufweist; und
    d) die Transferschicht (20) den Transfer zu der Reservoirschicht (30) stärker begünstigt als die Verteilung der Flüssigkeit über ihre Länge und Breite, während die Reservoirschicht (3) die Verteilung und Retention von Flüssigkeit in ihrer gesamten Länge und Breite fördert, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß:
    e) die Deckschicht (10) eine geringere Dichte aufweist als die Transferschicht (20) und den Transfer in die Transferschicht stärker begünstigt als die Verteilung der Flüssigkeit über ihre Länge und Breite.
  2. Absorbierende Struktur nach Anspruch 1, die darüber hinaus eine flüssigkeitsundurchlässige rückseitige Lage (70) umfaßt, die sich über den Rand der Flüssigkeitstransferschichten (20) und Reservoirschichten (30) hinaus erstreckt und mindestens mit der Deckschicht (10) in einer versiegelten, ineinandergreifenden Verbindung befestigt ist.
  3. Absorbierende Struktur nach Anspruch 1 oder Anspruch 2, wobei das Flüssigkeitsreservoir (30) durch ein flexibles Flächengebilde definiert ist, das Zellstoff mit darin verteiltem hochsaugfähigem Material umfaßt.
  4. Absorbierende Struktur nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Deckschicht (10) ein voluminöses, sehr luftiges Material eines nichtgewebten Flächengebildes umfaßt, das ein Basisgewicht von zwischen etwa 3,39 und 33,9 g/m² (etwa 0,1 bis 1,0 oz/yd²) aufweist.
  5. Absorbierende Struktur nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Deckschicht (10) eine Dicke von etwa 0,13 mm (0,005 Inch) bis etwa 2,54 mm (0,10 Inch) bei 0,21 kPa (0,03 psi) und eine Dichte von etwa 0,025 bis etwa 0,12 g/cm³ bei 0,21 kPa (0,03 psi) aufweist.
  6. Absorbierende Struktur nach Anspruch 5, wobei die Deckschicht (10) im nassen Zustand eine solche Porengrößenverteilung aufweist, daß zwischen etwa 15 % und etwa 100 % der Poren einen Radius von größer als 300 µm aufweisen und zwischen etwa 0 % und 85 % der Poren einen Radius von kleiner als 300 µm aufweisen.
  7. Absorbierende Struktur nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Deckschicht (10) einen mit Löchern versehenen Polymerfilm umfaßt.
  8. Absorbierende Struktur nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Flüssigkeitstransferschicht (20) eine Dicke von etwa 1,0 bis etwa 3,8 mm (etwa 0,04 bis etwa 0,15 Inch) bei 0,21 kPa (0,03 psi) und eine Dichte von etwa 0,02 g/cm³ bis etwa 0,10 g/cm³ bei 0,21 kPa (0,03 psi) aufweist.
  9. Absorbierende Struktur nach Anspruch 8, wobei die Flüssigkeitstransferschicht (20) im nassen Zustand eine Porengrößenverteilung von zwischen etwa 10 % und etwa 50 % Poren mit einem Radius von größer als 300 µm aufweist und zwischen etwa 50 und etwa 90 % Poren kleiner als 300 µm sind.
  10. Absorbierende Struktur nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Transferschicht (20) eine Wasserdurchlässigkeit von mindestens 3,0 m³/m²/min (10 ft³/ft²/min) bei 1,17 kPa (0,17 psi) aufweist.
  11. Absorbierende Struktur nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Flüssigkeitsreservoirschicht (30) verdichtete komprimierte Torfmoospappe umfaßt.
  12. Absorbierende Struktur nach Anspruch 11, wobei die Torfmoospappe zur Erhöhung der Flexibilität mechanisch weichgemacht ist.
  13. Absorbierende Struktur nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Flüssigkeitsreservoirschicht (30) eine Dicke von etwa 0,38 bis etwa 2,54 mm (etwa 0,015 bis etwa 0,10 Inch) bei 0,21 kPa (0,03 psi) und eine Dichte von mindestens etwa 0,15 g/cm³ bei 0,21 kPa (0,03 psi) aufweist.
  14. Absorbierende Struktur nach Anspruch 13, wobei die Flüssigkeitsreservoirschicht (30) im nassen Zustand eine solche Porengrößenverteilung aufweist, daß zwischen etwa 90 % und 100 % der Poren einen Radius von weniger als 300 µm und etwa zwischen 0 % und 10 % der Poren einen Radius von größer als 300 µm aufweisen.
  15. Inkontinenzvorrichtung, umfassend die absorbierende Struktur eines der vorhergehenden Ansprüche.
  16. Tampon, umfassend die absorbierende Struktur eines der Ansprüche 1 bis 14.
  17. Wundverband, umfassend die absorbierende Struktur eines der Ansprüche 1 bis 14.
  18. Zu einer Einheit verbundene absorbierende Struktur nach Anspruch 1, wobei    die flüssigkeitsdurchlässige Deckschicht (10) eine äußere Oberfläche und eine innere Oberfläche aufweist;    die Flüssigkeitstransferschicht (20) eine äußere Oberfläche und eine innere Oberfläche aufweist, umfassend ein Flächengebilde aus im wesentlichen hydrophilen Fasern, wobei die äußere Oberfläche der Transferschicht mit der inneren Oberfläche der Deckschicht verbunden ist;    die stark saugfähige, stark zurückhaltende Flüssigkeitsreservoirschicht (30) eine äußere Oberfläche und eine innere Oberfläche aufweist, umfassend ein im wesentlichen hydrophiles Material, das eine Flüssigkeitshaltekapazität von mindestens etwa 7,5 Gramm Salzlösung pro Gramm saugfähiges Material aufweist, wobei die äußere Oberfläche der Flüssigkeitsreservoirschicht mit der inneren Oberfläche der Flüssigkeitstransferschicht verbunden ist; und    die flüssigkeitsundurchlässige rückseitige Lage (70), die Abdeckung und die rückseitige Lage sich über den Rand der Flüssigkeitstransfer- und Reservoirschichten hinaus erstrecken und um die Peripherie der absorbierenden Struktur herum miteinander versiegelt sind.
