Claims (8)

  1. Procédé d'appel de télécopie comprenant les étapes de:
    réception dans un système de commutation d'arrivée (170) d'un appel de télécopie identifié par un numéro d'arrivée vocal (146);
    traduction dans ledit système de commutation dudit numéro d'arrivée vocal en données pour dériver un lieu d'équipement connecté à un poste télécopieur (104) pour desservir les appels de télécopie d'un poste vocal identifié par ledit numéro d'arrivée vocal, et
    si ledit poste télécopieur est disponible, connexion dudit appel de télécopie audit poste télécopieur dans un système de commutation d'arrivée (170) connecté audit poste télécopieur;
       caractérisé en ce que le procédé comprend en outre les étapes de:
    traduction (206) d'un numéro téléphonique demandeur (146) dudit appel pour déterminer si ledit numéro téléphonique demandeur est celui d'un poste télécopieur;
    en réponse à une détermination que ledit numéro téléphonique demandeur est celui d'un poste télécopieur, insertion d'un indicateur de télécopie (144) dans un message de signalisation par canal sémaphore (140) pour ledit appel;
    réception d'un message de signalisation pour ledit appel dans un système de commutation interurbain ou de transit (150) connectable de manière commutable à un commutateur d'arrivée (170) pour desservir ledit numéro d'arrivée vocal, ledit message de signalisation comprenant un indicateur de télécopie;
    détermination dans ledit système de commutation interurbain ou de transit si ledit numéro téléphonique vocal est un numéro d'arrivée de télécopieur (310);
    si ledit système de commutation interurbain ou de transit détermine que ledit numéro d'arrivée vocal n'est pas un numéro d'arrivée de télécopieur, traduction (311) dudit numéro d'arrivée vocal en un numéro d'arrivée de télécopieur d'un poste télécopieur pour desservir les appels de télécopie à un poste vocal identifié par ledit numéro d'arrivée vocal, et transmission dudit numéro d'arrivée vocal audit système de commutation d'arrivée pour fournir lesdites données en vue de dériver ledit lieu d'équipement;
    dans ledit système de commutation d'arrivée, traduction dudit numéro d'arrivée de télécopieur reçu à partir dudit système de commutation interurbain ou de transit pour dériver ledit lieu d'équipement dudit poste télécopieur.
  2. Procédé de la revendication 1, comprenant en outre l'étape de:    réception dudit numéro d'arrivée à partir d'un poste demandeur analogique.
  3. Procédé de la revendication 1 ou 2, comprenant en outre l'étape de:    si le poste télécopieur est occupé, reconnexion automatique (240, 242, 220, 222) dudit appel à un moyen de transmission différée pour sa livraison ultérieure.
  4. Procédé de la revendication 1, dans lequel l'étape de traduction d'un numéro demandeur comprend l'étape de réception d'un numéro téléphonique d'un poste demandeur dudit appel de télécopie et de traduction dudit numéro téléphonique en une indication que ledit numéro téléphonique est celui d'un poste télécopieur.
  5. Procédé de la revendication 1, dans lequel l'étape de traduction d'un numéro demandeur comprend les étapes de:
    détermination que l'appel provient de la ligne qui demande des appels de télécopie et d'autres appels;
    connexion d'un récepteur audit appel; et
    détection d'un signal identifiant un appel de télécopie dans ledit récepteur pour ledit appel.
  6. Procédé de la revendication 1, dans lequel l'étape de traduction dudit numéro d'arrivée vocal comprend la traduction dudit numéro d'arrivée en une identité d'une pluralité de postes photocopieurs associés; et    la sélection de l'un de la pluralité en fonction de l'heure de la journée et de la semaine.
  7. Procédé de la revendication 1, dans lequel l'étape de traduction dudit numéro d'arrivée de télécopieur comprend la traduction dudit numéro d'arrivée de télécopieur en l'identité d'une pluralité de postes photocopieurs associés; et    la sélection de l'un de ladite pluralité qui est disponible.
  8. Appareil de télécommunications pour établir un appel de télécopie, comprenant:    un système de commutation interurbain ou de transit (150) pour recevoir un appel, identifié par un numéro d'arrivée, et pour transmettre ledit appel vers un système de commutation d'arrivée (170);    caractérisé en ce que ledit système de commutation interurbain ou de transit comprend en outre:
    un moyen processeur (156) fonctionnant sous la commande d'un programme (150) pour déterminer si ledit appel est un appel de télécopie en recherchant (304) la présence d'un indicateur de photocopie (144) dans un message de signalisation par canal sémaphore (140) pour ledit appel;
    s'il est déterminé que ledit appel est un appel de télécopie, l'essai (310) par l'intermédiaire de données dans une base de données (250) dudit système de commutation interurbain ou de transit si ledit numéro d'arrivée est un numéro d'un poste vocal;
    s'il est déterminé que ledit numéro d'arrivée est le numéro d'un poste vocal, traduction (311) pour déterminer un numéro téléphonique d'un poste télécopieur pour desservir les appels pour ledit poste vocal; et
    fourniture (311) dudit numéro téléphonique dudit poste télécopieur comme numéro téléphonique pour ledit appel à un système de commutation d'arrivée (170) connecté audit poste télécopieur.
