Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Zusammensetzung zum Beizen von Saatgut. Ziel der Erfindung ist es, das Saatgut so zu behandeln, dasz zum einen durch Abrieb keine Schadstoffe von den Saatkoernern abfallen und die Umwelt verunreinigen koennen und zum anderen der Keimprozesz durch den Beizmittelueberzug nicht beeintraechtigt wird. Auszerdem soll der Verbrauch an Beizmittel gesenkt werden. Erfindungsgemaesz besteht die Zusammensetzung aus einem Copolymer aus Vinylacetat und Vinylmonomer, einem wasserloeslichen polymeren Schutzkolloid, einem Beizwirkstoff, Wasser und sonstigen Hilfsstoffen. Die Zusammensetzung wird derart auf das Saatgut aufgesprueht, dasz sich in der Regel keine geschlossene Ueberzugsschicht bildet. Die Oberflaeche des Saatgutes soll vielmehr lediglich von einzelnen diskreten Filmflecken bedeckt sein.
