Abstract

Die Fuellmasse fuer Filterzigarettenmundstuecke mit der verbesserten Wirksamkeit und dem niedrigeren Gasdurchstroemwiderstand besteht aus einem Band von Mehrkomponenten-Polypropylenfasern, deren Oberflaeche Mikrorisse und deren Masse Mikroporen mit 5 bis 7 Kraeuselungen auf 1 cm Laenge und eine Faserfeinheit von 5 bis 7 rdkm (?) aufweist. Die einzelnen Fasern eines Faserbueschels haben eine unterschiedliche Schwerpunktlage und das Massenverhaeltnis der Bestandteile betraegt 1:3-3:1. Die Aufbereitung besteht im selbstaendigen Schmelzen und in der thermischen Behandlung jedes Polypropylenschmelzstroms mit einem Masseanteil von 100 bis 200 mlg 1 bei einer Temperatur von 230 bis 330C, so dass ein Unterschied im Masseanteil von 30 bis 50 mlg 1 erreicht wird, wobei wenigstens ein Bestandteil 5 bis 20 Ma.-% der hochmolekularen Fraktion mit einem Masseanteil von 400 bis 450 mlg 1 enthaelt. Jeder Bestandteil ist selbstaendig homogenisiert. Dann werden die Bestandteile zu einem nichthomogenen Schmelzstrom vermischt und durch 3 000 bis 10 000 Duesenoeffnungen zu einem Faserbueschel geformt, das mit Wasser behandelt, bei einer Temperatur von 70 bis 140C verfestigt und zusammengepackt zu Mundstuecken zurechtgeschnitten wird.
