Abstract
A method is aimed at diminishing environmental pollution overload due to industrial scale chemical prepn. and at treating effluents derived therefrom. It applies esp. to acid contg. effluents where alkali-hydroxides are (also) present as receptors. The method is a combination of three kinds of treatments, i.e.: prepn. linked, effluent treating and alkali-hydroxide regenerating treatments. The method makes use of electrochemical and photochemical means.
