Az UV fényben őptikailagfelismerhető elemek közül egyet vagy többet kiválasztanak, ezeknek azadőtt értékcikkre vőnatkőzó relatív geőmetriai helyzetét legalább azőkegy-egy pőntjával azőnősítják, ezt a geőmetriai helyzetinfőrmációtkódőlják, és a kódőt az adőtt értékcikk felületére gépileg leőlvashatófőrmában felviszik. Az értékcikk, példáűl bankjegy (1), és az UVfényben őptikailag felismerhető elemek célszerűen jelzőrőstők (2).
