Abstract
N-(3-(p-trihydrocarbylsilylphenyl) -2-methylpropyl) heterocyclic cpds. of formula (I) and their salts are new. In (I) each R is independently opt. substd. 1-10C alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, 3-8C cycloalkyl, phenyl or substd. aryl; R4 and R5 are H or 1-5C alkyl; y is CH2, O, NH or N-alkyl. (I) are fungicides with high activity against a wide range of phytopathogenic fungi, esp. Ascomycetes and Basidiomycetes such as Erysiphe graminis and Puccinia recondita, as well as against wood-destroying fungi.(0/0)
