Abstract

Aq. solns. of L-3,4-dihydroxy-phenyl alpha-methyl-alanin for medicinal use are prepd. by mixing 1-5 wt.% of the amino-acid based on the final prod. with 15-75 wt.% solubiliser, 20-80 wt.% water and 0.2-2.0 wt.% additives, adjusting the pH of the soln. with one or more inorganic and/or organic acids to 3-5, and finishing the resulting soln. in the known way in the form of pharmaceutical prepns., pref. for intravenal, infusion or peroral administration.
