Abstract

Keratin contg. natural substances are partially hydrolysed to liberate amino amino gps. to the skeleton of the keratin molecule without breaking skeletal bonds, and the hydrolysis is discontinued. The resulting intermediary prod. is reacted with an aliphatic or heterocyclic aldehyde having 1-6 carbons. The reaction prod. is opt. comminuted.
