Abstract

A clamp for the crochet needle is fitted to the needle bar of the crochet galloon machine, with a plate-shaped lower section and at least one needle bed, in the form of a flat even base with recesses open at the top to take the shafts of each closely packed needle in a group. The working zones of adjacent needles have sufficient room between them to take the yarn loops of stitches to be formed. A securing bolt for the clamp holds the clamp lid against the needles and the lower section. The knocking-over bar, fixed to one of the main cross members of the machine, ends with a straight upper edge closely below the working zones of the needles ranging out from the clamp. - Designed for the development of crocheted strips, the design allows a greater number of needles per cm of working width to be used.(0/7)
