Abstract

A discharge pipe of an air blower is used as an ejector. It is connected to the upstream side of the material transfer hose located below the material guide funnel. The ejector throat is arranged parallel to or coaxially with air discharge pipe and the transfer hose. The geometric axes of the material guide funnel and the ejector throat are arranged at an angle pref. greater than 90 deg. to ensure a relatively straight path for the stream of material. Similarly, if the material is to be transferred over relatively large distances the transfer hose could be made up of sections located relatively to each other at angles greater than 90 deg., and additonal ejectors may be used between the sections.
