Abstract
The generator has at least one sensor cooperating with a set of at least one pair of signal generators, displaced relative to the sensor to provide a signal each time one of the generators passes the sensor. The latter is adjustable to the direction of relative movement along one of the separation lines extending between the individual generators. - The lines are similarly angled in apposite directions relative to the direction of relative movement. Pref. the generator uses a Hall sensor cooperating with an annular magnet having alternate poles around its periphery. (10pp Dwg No. 3/4)
