Abstract
(1) 5-(2-Chloro-4-trifluoromethyl phenoxy) 2-nitro-alpha-substd.-acetophenone derivs. and analogues of formula (I) are new. In (I) R1=Me or CHR3=COAR4; A=O or S; R3=H or Me; R4= H, 1-4C alkyl, 3-6C alkenyl, 3-6C, alkynyl, or 1-4C alkyl substd. with a halogen, 1-3C alkoxy or 2-4C alkoxycarbonyl; Y=O or N-OR2; R2=H, 1-3C alkyl or CHR5-COR6; R5=H or Me; R6=A'R7 or NR8R9; A1= O or S; R7=H, 1-4C alkyl, 3-6C alkenyl, 3-6C alkynyl, opt. substd. Ph, 1-4C alkyl substd. with a halogen or 1-3C alkoxy, alkali(ne earth) metal equiv., NH4 opt. substd. with a 1-4C alkyl, or CHR10-COOR11; R10=H or Me; R11=1-3C alkyl, R8, R9=H, 1-3C alkyl, 3-6C alkynyl or 1-3C alkoxy. - (2) Intermediates of formula (II) are new.
