Plant fungicide contains 1-99% of metallic salt complexes of 2-amino-imidazole, (formula (1)) as active ingredient. R1 is a hydrogen or halogen atom or 1-6C alkyl, alkylthio, nitro-furoyl-thio gp; Me = Zn, Cu or Mn; X = (in)organic acid gp.; n = 1 or 2; m = 1 or 2. (1) is prepd. by a reaction between 2-amino-benzimadazole derivs. (II) and a metallic salt of formula Me(X)m (111).
