N-Heterocyclylmethyl- 2-phenethylamine derivs. of the formula (I) and their salts are new; where R = NHSO2 (1-4C) alkyl, NH2 or NO2; R1 = 1-4C alkyl; Het = (II), (III) or (IV); R2 = H, CH3 or Et; R3 = -NHSO2 (1-4C alkyl), -NH2 or -NO2; X = O, S or NR4; R4 = H or CH3. The proviso is when one of R and R3 is NO2 then the other is not NH2.
