Abstract

An actuator has cylindrical front and rear sections, the former with rear end open and front end merging into a neck with an inner tube extending axially form the neck opening into the front section to retain a syringe with a piston slidable in a medicament holding cylinder. - The rear section has aligned disc springs for driving driving the piston, and a bushing slidable between piston and springs and can engage the piston as it travels from retracted to extended position. A latch can lock the bushing and springs in the retracted position. The front and rear sections are pref. of plastics.
