Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung zur Herstellung einer voluminoesen Faserschicht mit einem zur Schichtebene ueberwiegend senkrecht orientierten Faseranteil, das als waerme- und schallisolierendes Flaechengebilde in der Textil-, Bekleidungs- und Moebelindustrie vorteilhaft eingesetzt wird. Die erfindungsgemaesze Vorrichtung besteht aus Mitteln 6; 9 zum Zufuehren eines zu verarbeitenden Faserflors 1, aus Elementen 2; 5 zum Formieren und Verdichten der entstehenden Faserschicht und aus Mitteln 3 zum Abtransport der gebildeten Faserschicht 4, wobei diese zu ihrer Fixierung durch eine Waermebehandlungsstation 8 gefuehrt wird. Die Erfindung gestattet die Herstellung eines voluminoesen Flaechengebildes in Form einer Faserschicht ohne die Verwendung einer textilen Trag- bzw. Stuetzunterlage.
