Abstract

Hinge mounts are used on a window or door between a frame capping (68) and a wing capping parallel to it; the frame bearing block of the hinge mounts has a flat base plate (21) which lies flush in a cavity (23) sunk into the visible face (22) of the frame and opening out onto the frame rebate-peripheral face (24). The shallow cavity (23), on its boundary edges facing away from the frame rebate-peripheral face (24), has a contour formed by several (at least two) mutually intersecting circular arcs (67) to which the boundary edges (26) of the base plate (21) have a complementary line.
