[Class 110 (i)] In a priming device for a centrifugal pump comprising a tank 1 in the delivery pipe 2, 3 of the pump connected by a pipe 7 to the suction 5, and having therein a valve 8 adapted to be actuated to close the pipe 7 by a valve 9 actuated by the delivery flow of liquid, the valve 9 is disposed at the outlet from the tank to the delivery pipe 3. The valves 8, 9 are pivoted and are interconnected by a rod 11. The valve 8 is weighted at 8<1>. The valve 9 partially closes the outlet to the pipe 3 only. [GB601653A]
