Abstract
710,244. Resilient joints. NEIDHART, H. J. Sept. 22, 1952 [Oct. 23, 1951], No. 23697/52. Class 108(3) The inner member D of the elastic joint forming the subject of Specification 652,266 is formed with flanges F. These prevent over-rotation of the inner member D and permit the latter to be smaller, and the elastic masses M to be larger, than in the prior construction. A radius at S may be replaced by a sharp corner. The flange F may extend as far as a circle inscribed within the outer member A. The flanges F may extend further than this, and they then provide a positive stop.
