[Also in Division B8] Wood shavings 5 are fed from a conveyer belt 5 to form a uniform layer on a conveyer belt 23 via rotary distributing members 6, 7, 17. and 19, and a rotary feeder member 9, surplus shavings from the member 9 being conveyed back at 16 to conveyer belt 5. The member 5 is bladed and the member 17 is formed with comb-like elements. The drive to the member 9 is infinitely variable. The speed of the belt 1 is controlled in dependance of the excess of material occurring at the entry to the member 9. [GB1168024A]
