A circular loom includes a selvedge mechanism having a rotating hook 24 which catches a pick end held in cutter blades 73, 74 and tucks it into the next shed. The pick is presented to the cutter by a reciprocable hook 83. Warp yarns of the auxiliary selvedge are depressed below the path of the hook 24 by an arm 36. [GB1234572A]
