Abstract
(A) Cmpds. (I):- R-Cyclopeptide A where cyclopeptide A is probably where MePro = L-trans-4-methylproline MeThr = L-N-methylthreonine MeVal = L-N-methylvaline MeLeu = L-N-methylleucine Pro = L-proline Glyc = glycocol Leu = L-leucine and Thr = L-threonine and R = H, alkanoyl, alkenoyl, alkadienoyl, CO2 alkyl, aroyl, aralkanoyl, S-aryl, SO-aryl, SO2-aryl, CO-cycloalkyl, CO-heterocyclyl, heterocyclylalkanoyl, or the residue of a linear or cyclic peptide bonded via = O to the N atom of the L-trans-4-methylproline side chain of A. Alkyl residues etc. may have up to 50 C atoms and is opt. subst. by one or more Hal, NH2 and/or (1-5C) S alkyl gps., aromatic gps. are Ph or naphthyl residues opt. subst. by one or more alkyl, PhCH2, NH2, Nalkyl2, and/or NO2; heterocyclic residues may be mono- or polynuclear, and may contain one or more N, S and/or O atoms and be opt. subst. by one or more alkyl and/or NO2, peptide residues may contain 2-15 aminoacids; NH and NH2 substits. may be substd. by one or more (1-30C) alkyl, alkanoyl, aralkyl, CO2 alkyl, and/or CO2 aralkyl.
