Abstract

An arrangement for forming an electrostatic field in the region of a bed in which a pair of electrodes are arranged in the bed spaced from the head and body portion of a person resting therein, so that a voltage supply of about 200 volts connected to the electrodes will create an electrostatic field at the region of the head of the person in order of 103 volts per meter.
