Abstract

1,230,356. Thermally insulated containers. DOORNKAAT A.G. 17 Dec., 1969 [28 Aug., 1969], No. 61601/69. Heading F4U. A heat-insulated container adapted to accommodate a bottle 1 with the bottle - end protruding from the container, comprises a casing 2 closed at its lower end by a detachable base 4, both the casing and the base having thermally insulating linings 3, 5 respectively. The base 4 may be of plastics material with an upstanding flange on which are integral or attached metal tongues 4a which are sprung into corresponding grooves 2a in the casing 2. Tabs (2b, Fig. 2) project from the casing and fit into corresponding grooves 4b in the base 4 to provide a seal. [GB1230356A]
