1305650 Para - substituted - phenylsulphonyl - 2 - imino - imidazolidines CIBA - GEIGY AG 3 Sept 1970 [4 Sept 1969] 42102/70 Heading C2C [Also in Division A5] Novel, therapeutic compounds I (including salts and solvates thereof) where R 1 is C 1-6 alkyl, allyl, C 5-9 cyclo-alkyl or -alkenyl, alkyl-substituted cycloalkyl having, in toto, from 6 to 9 carbons with at least 5 carbons in the cycloalkyl moiety or phenalkyl of up to 9C, R 2 is H, Me or Et, R 3 is C 1-7 alkyl, C 3-5 alkenyl, an optionally alkyl substituted cycloalkyl or cycloalkyl-alkyl group of at most 8C, Ph or p-tolyl and m is 2 or 3, are made by reacting compounds II[obtained, e.g. by interacting an appropriate p- (amino-alkyl)-benzenesulphonamide hydrochloride and an N-(2-haloalkyl) - N - R 1 - cyanamide] with dithio - esters, R 3 CSSR 4 [R 4 is a hydrocarbon radical of at most 7C, e.g. benzyl; prepared by treating an imino-thioether, R 3 C(:NH)SR 4 , usually as the hydrochloride, with hydrogen sulphide].
